Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup milk (whole, skim, or your favorite non-dairy alternative)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Pinch of sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by brewing your favorite coffee, preferably a medium to dark roast for a richer flavor. Follow the instructions for your coffee maker.
- Allow the brewed coffee to cool to room temperature, or speed up the process by placing it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- In a blender, combine the cooled coffee, milk, and ice cubes. A high-speed blender is recommended for a smoother texture.
- Add the caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and sugar to the blender. Adjust the sugar to your taste preference.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30-45 seconds, ensuring the ice is fully crushed.
- Taste the frappuccino and add more sugar if desired, blending again for a few seconds.
- Drizzle caramel sauce along the inside of a tall glass for flavor and presentation.
- Pour the blended frappuccino into the glass, filling it about three-quarters full.
- Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- Drizzle more caramel sauce over the whipped cream.
- Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for a delightful contrast.
Notes
- Serve with a straw or spoon for easy enjoyment.
