  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

Creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, this Chicken Alfredo Dip is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Perfect for parties, game days, or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Rub spice mixture all over chicken. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through (165°F/74°C). Remove and let cool slightly. Shred or chop the chicken.
  2. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Reduce heat to low, add softened cream cheese, and stir until smooth. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly until smooth. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and thickened. Season with salt to taste.
  3. Assemble the Dip: Add shredded chicken to the Alfredo sauce and stir to combine. Stir in chopped parsley. Pour the mixture into a baking dish (e.g., 8×8 inch). Sprinkle mozzarella and provolone cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Bake the Dip: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with crackers, baguette slices, vegetables, tortilla chips, or pita bread.

Notes

  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce for a little heat.
  • Add vegetables: Stir in some cooked broccoli, spinach, or mushrooms for added nutrients and flavor.
  • Use different cheeses: Experiment with different types of cheese, such as Gruyere, Fontina, or Asiago.
  • Make it ahead: You can assemble the dip ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to bake it. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time.
  • Slow Cooker Option: For an even easier preparation, combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Stir occasionally.
