  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 inch ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or water)
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Wash the spinach and kale thoroughly. Remove kale stems.
    • Chop the green apple (core removed).
    • Ensure the banana is frozen.
    • Scoop out 1/4 of an avocado.
    • Peel the ginger using a spoon.
  2. Blending the Smoothie:
    • Add almond milk (or water) to the blender.
    • Add spinach and kale.
    • Add green apple, frozen banana, avocado, chia seeds, almond butter, ginger, lemon juice, and ice cubes (if using).
    • Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed until smooth and creamy.
    • Check consistency: Add more almond milk if too thick, or ice if too thin.
    • Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
  3. Serving the Smoothie:
    • Pour into a glass.
