Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients for a smoother cooking process.
- Wash and slice the bell peppers into thin strips.
- Cut the broccoli into small florets.
- Rinse the snap peas and set aside.
- Slice the onion into thin wedges.
- Mince the garlic and ginger.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- If using cornstarch, mix it with water in a separate bowl until smooth, then add to the sauce mixture.
- Whisk until well combined and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
- Once hot, add ground turkey and break it apart with a spatula.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Push turkey to one side of the skillet and drain excess fat if necessary.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onion and cook for about 2 minutes until softened.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas, stir-frying for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Mix the vegetables with the ground turkey in the skillet.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the turkey and vegetable mixture.
- Stir to coat everything evenly and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
