- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add unsalted butter, scraping up browned bits.
- Add minced garlic, thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, stirring to deglaze the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest, mixing well.
- Place chicken back in the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked (165°F/75°C). Simmer longer if needed.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve.
