  • 2 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Fresh peach slices, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly under cool running water to remove any dirt or residues.
  2. Slice the peaches in half and twist to separate the halves. Remove the pit from each half.
  3. Peel the skin off the peaches using a paring knife or your hands if they are ripe enough.
  4. Cut the peeled peaches into small chunks for easier blending.
  5. In a blender, add the chopped peaches.
  6. Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender.
  7. Pour in the whole milk. Adjust the amount for desired thickness.
  8. Add honey for sweetness, if desired.
  9. Add vanilla extract for flavor.
  10. Sprinkle in ground cinnamon for warmth, if using.
  11. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth.
  12. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed.
  13. Blend again for another 15-30 seconds until desired consistency is reached.
  14. Taste the milkshake and adjust sweetness with more honey or vanilla extract if needed.
  15. Blend briefly to incorporate any additional ingredients.
  16. Pour the milkshake into tall glasses or milkshake cups, filling them three-quarters full.
  17. Top each milkshake with whipped cream.
  18. Garnish with fresh peach slices on top of the whipped cream.
  19. Optionally, add a maraschino cherry on top.
  20. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon.
  21. Savor the fresh flavors of peaches combined with the creaminess of ice cream and milk.
  22. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer, but note that texture may change.
  23. To revive, blend again with a splash of milk.
