Instructions
- Prepare Strawberry Puree: Hull strawberries. Macerate with 1 tbsp sugar (optional) for 15-20 minutes. Puree in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve (optional).
- Chill Martini Glass: Place martini glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, orange bitters (if using), and 2 oz strawberry puree.
- Shake: Seal and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
- Double Strain: Place a Hawthorne strainer over the shaker and a fine-mesh sieve over the chilled glass. Pour the martini through both strainers.
- Garnish: Garnish with a strawberry slice and an edible flower (optional).
- Serve: Serve immediately.
