- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh kiwi, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Additional sliced strawberries and kiwi for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, add the sliced strawberries. Blend on high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Transfer the strawberry puree to a large mixing bowl or pitcher.
- Add the sliced kiwi to the blender and blend until smooth. Add a splash of water if the mixture is too thick.
- Combine the kiwi puree with the strawberry puree in the mixing bowl or pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Squeeze the lemons to extract 1 cup of juice, removing any seeds.
- Add the lemon juice to the bowl or pitcher with the fruit puree.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until completely dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Pour the cold water into the pitcher with the fruit and lemon mixture. Stir well to combine.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve over ice cubes in glasses.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional slices of strawberries and kiwi if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to experiment with other fruits like raspberries or blueberries for a mixed berry lemonade.
